Tweed Skirt (Eng)

This is an A-line mini skirt with the option to adjust where it sits on the hips. It has an elastic waistband. The skirt is knitted top-down in linen stitch and with short rows.

The skirt has 6 sizes and is designed to have approximately 0–2 cm positive ease at the waist and about 10 cm positive ease over the hips. The length of the skirt is 37 cm for high-waisted version and 30 cm for low-waisted version.

There are instructions for adaptions in the pattern if you fall between sizes.

Yarn: two threads Majo Tweed Supreme held together (50g = approx.. 350m)

Skirt 1: two strands «Chestnut».
Skirt 2: one strand “Tan” held together with one strand “Mellow mint”

Yarn amount: 150g (150g) 150g (200g) 200g (200g)

Recommended needles: 3,5 (US 4) og 4,5 (US 7)

Tension before washing and blocking:
Linen stitch on needles 4,5 (US 7): 23x42 = 10x10cm
Stocking stitch on needles 3,5 (US 4): 23x34 = 10x10cm
